Guide
Once you've downloaded and run SongShifter you can start using Psonar to manage your music. This guide will help you to discover how to use the Psonar service to the full.
View Music Collection
The first thing you see when logging in to Psonar is a screen containing all of your music collection. It initially shows a list of all your songs that are available in the cloud. To see what is currently stored on any of your computers on mobile devices, click on the appropriate icon on the left-hand side of the screen. To learn more about this powerful tool see our guide to your music collection.
Play Music
You can instantly play any of your tracks that are in the cloud by simply double-clicking on the track in the main list. This will launch the Psonar music player in a pop up window and it will immediately start to play your selected track. For more details about how to get the best streaming experience, see our guide to the Psonar Music Player.
Create Playlists
You can create playlists very easily - simply drag a track (or an artist, an album or a whole genre) over to the playlist tab on the right-hand side and drop it on the empty space at the bottom of the list. You'll be prompted to give the new playlist a name and it will be created instantly. Add more tracks by simply dragging them over to the playlist.
Search Songs
You can search for particular songs in your collection using the search box in the top-right corner. Just type one or more words into the box and click 'Go'. You can restrict your search to just track titles, artists or album names by using the radio buttons below the search box. We've got a lot more search and discovery tools coming soon that we'll let you all know about just as soons as its ready!
